- Janine Randerson
- I am a media artist from New Zealand. My art practice mainly results in media installations but I also work with single channel video. I am currently the Artist-in-Residence at NERI (national Environmental Research Institute) in Denmark to research material for the exhibition IMPACT.In 2006 I first collaborated with micro-meteorologists as the digital artist in residence at the University of Waikato. Currently I am on the guest editorial panel of a special issue of MIT’s Leonardo Journal. I am a board member of ADA (Aotearoa Digital Arts network), and a member of Synapse, the art-science collaboration network in Australia. I am currently a PhD research student at the university of Melbourne. I am researching historical and contemporary instances of art-science interaction/collaboration in Meteorology and climate science. My website: www.janineranderson.com
